The study done in Argentina on the use of sildenafil (Viagra) in patients
with erectile dysfunction was awarded at the 14th World Congress of Sexology
held in Hong Kong in 1999. This work of Dr. Adrian Sapetti received 1st
prize for best clinical presentation.
This was an investigation into the use of Viagra in 64 patients -hetero
and homosexuals with various causes of erectile dysfunction (functional
and psychological). The study was open, not a double-blind, naturalistic
or without hospitalization or modification of patterns of life of patients.
